Saturday fried chicken dinner special with 4 pieces of fried chicken and 2 sides for $12.99! Honestly, this is some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten!
I will always love stopping here! I highly recommend coming here like I can't recommend it enough! Food and staff are awesome, it's my favorite place to stop at. It was my first meal of 2020!
Great customer service. Great food. A little on hi end with their prices but I would recommend this place to any one and I will continue to visit frequently. Also very family friendly .
Good food and good service
We stopped on Saturday while traveling to Huntington. The chicken dinner was excellent and a steal at 12.99. Great place to fill up while on the road.
The fried chicken was good. The mashed potatoes could use a little more butter and spices but overall a cute place. Good food and decent prices !
Good food, nice people, good service.
Wonderful place to eat. Downhome country cooking with delicious, generous portions. The staff is always courteous. My husband and I always enjoy eating here. You have to try the Wilted Lettuce Salad. It's great!
It was GREAT! I recommend anyone to go to Harding's. I see some critical reviews though, but that is just their opinions. The wilted leaf salad was AMAZING, if you stop by there I say you should get it!
Friendly people, good food, economic prices... And don't forget to try the Wilted Lettuce Salad...
It was awesome! I visited the state I am from PA and wanted to relax and have a meal. The staff is very welcoming and the food was great.
Worst meal I have had there, had grilled chicken, it looked boiled and there was Absolutely NO SEASONING, the broccoli they don't use a melted creamy cheese they put shredded salad cheese on it and the broccoli was supposed to be steamed but was more raw. Husband got chopped steak and it was dried out and had no seasoning. We are not the only ones complaining that day several other families complained and some left without eating.
Good coffee and nice service. Great place to take a break on a long drive
I haven't eaten here in 15 years and its all I could think about today when I knew I had to drive past the Mink exit. The service is amazing, the food is down home and my server( Marina) was delightful. Good lord knows we need more places like this in the world because new chains aren't better than an old favorite!
Always a friendly atmosphere with great food and service. Home cooking to satisfy any appetite with awesome desserts. Plenty of parking just off I-79 (exit 1) with big motel next door. Driving distance within five minutes to down town Charleston. Highly recommend!! 💕
Home cooked and tasty food at a very reasonable price, make sure you try the wilted salad and the homemade Graham cracker pie, it was excellent!! Yes I will be back.
Always like sitting down to a family dinner everyone so very friendly. we have been stopping there for the past 8 years. always look forward to a home cooked meal. and sweet employees. looking forward to next year's visit..
Friendly Service, good food, convenient location, easy off and easy on I-79.
Stopped in for dinner and was told it would be okay to spend the night in my truck on the dirt parking lot across the street they own ( I am a long-haul trucker with a sleeper truck). Around 2 in the morning I was awoken buy a man jumping around and Shining lights into my truck. I was informed that the waitress had misinformed to me ( probably to get a bigger tip) and in the future I was no longer welcome after eating my meal and paying for it. They are lucky their employee was not shot the way he approached me and startled me sleeping in the middle of the night.
LOVED everything about this place! Food was fantastic and Janice is the sweetest woman!
They generally don’t allow you to swap a daily special soup and sandwich for non-meat options if it’s not the ‘daily special’. But the manager allowed the swap after I explained my food restrictions. (Tomato soup and grilled cheese). Great service. Great food.
Great experience. Wonderful waitress named Keelin Haynes
Harding's food is always decent, with the standout being the amazing wilted lettuce salads which has a truly regional flavor. You will not find another like it. This is a family, home-cooking restaurant which is worth dropping off the highway for, especially if you're tired of the chain franchise joints.
Very nice restaurant. Good home style meal. Very sweet waitress and she kept my coffee cup full.
We went mid-morning on a Saturday and were seated right away. The severs were friendly and food just like homemade.
Stopped here as it was recommended on our way back from a competition. We were told it was good comfort food. Our table of 2 families plus others we had brought, all were disappointed. The food was poor, the place needs cleaned and at least our server was far from prompt. I prefer to support local and small businesses such as this but not gonna torture myself at this place again.
Stopped here on my way home to Ohio to meet up and see my dad. Food was good but service leaves alot to be desired. Items not brought to table, drinks not refilled in timely fashion, and waited 15 min for our waitress to stop at table to ask for check and another 15 min only for her to return to pick it up only to realize she never brought it to us.
Good service good food. People are nice
Food is fantastic, Friendly Staff...
The wait staff is wonderful. They all had face coverings on, which was very comforting to me. The food is good down home cooking.
Food is home cooking choices, delicious, large banquet room, great service.
Good food, good service, convenient location, good value, good price
Nice family restaurant. There is a good mix of locals ans travelers that frequent this establishment. The food is tasty, home cooked, and served up piping hot! The waitstaff are friendly and hospitable. There is a small store in the front area. The decor is a bit dated, but it feels homey. I had the liver and onions and my husband had a breakfast skillet. Both were quite tasty.
Wonderful home cooked food just like my grandma. Desserts are amazing and fresh. I have had just about everything on the menu and I have always left so full.
Very clean, friendly staff, good food, unique atmosphere.Great place for any meal.
Food was good but cold, waitress took 20 minutes to take our drink order. Then said "you know what you want? Youve been here quite awhile" by the time we got our food it was barely warm. Disappointment for sure.
Chopped chicken salad is unbelievable!
They have a sign telling you to wait to be seated. It took about 10mins to be seated due to having to wait for the middle aged cashier to finish chit-chatting. Regular customers, however, just walked in and sat themselves. The wait for our order was too long. The chicken breast ordered was small and dry. Apparently the milkshakes are good.
Great food and caring staff
Harding's Family Restaurant had excellent food & also a huge variety of different entree's. I had the. Meatloaf & it was excellent.
Good food. I love the "wilted" salads and the beans and cornbread. I also love that I can get any item of the menu any time of day (breakfast for dinner, and dinner for breakfast). One of my favorite places to go.
Pretty good. Food and service excellent. Needs a little cleaner.
This little restuarant is certainly my favorite place to go when I need some homestyle cooking! Great food and great people! Definitely reccomend!
Wonderful place. Great food and friendly professional staff. Our waitress Star was excellent.
My family and I have been going to this restaurant every year for the past six or seven years, and it still has yet to disappoint. Their pancakes are phenomenal every time we go and same with the omelets. The staff is always very kind and welcoming. Great place to have a home style meal!!
This looks like a great experience. The country fried steak was out this world. All sides were very good and fresh. This place has a grassroots feel of all the huge chains like cracket barrel or Perkins but with a discreet West Virginia charm. Service was top notch. Anna and Sarah were wonderful.. see all gone. Pecan pie was alright.
Friendly. Clean. I am still getting used to food uo here. Got the side dish dinner, or the vegetable plate as we call it down South. Food comes, looks great. And tasted exactly like veggies with no salt or pepper or butter added while cooking. I admit I added some of each to what was appropriate. Now, the blueberry pie!!! That was wonderful!! I will probably go back when I am here for work. Just have to being some garlic!
Good place to be, reminded me of a better Cracker Barrel. Second time visiting while in town. Pancakes has a hint of vanilla. Very good
My favorite local restaurant. I grew up just down the road, and I remember coming here every Sunday after church and usually one night during the week when they had good specials going. Definitely has a homemade taste.
Great food & Superb Service!
